I wanted to know what your policy is in regards to continue using the trial version for business use? Is there some specific area of the website I can read up on your stance with regards to your software use in a business.

No, I can confirm that there is no such information on the website, as there is not special restrictions / limitations related to businesses.
If the trial version is enough to detect and display the status information, that can be used - as long as you prefer.
Registered version may be required only if you prefer to have higher level of data protection, for example complete background monitoring, alerts, disk testing, remote access, backup and so.
Then you may select the appropriate version: Hard Disk Sentinel standard for single PC, Professional for single PC, Professional Family for 5 PCs or the Enterprise package to monitor more computers over the network. The license will grants lifetime use with lifetime free updates to all future versions, without any further annual renewal / subscription / update fees.
This is described on the Store page ( www.hdsentinel.com/store.php ) with the information about the different versions and applicable for both business and home users.
Hard Disk Sentinel Professional Family license can be also used for business purposes too.
