A simple question if I may. If one of the hard disks is moved to another computer, is it possible to move HD Sentinel monitoring history to that computer as well
SMART history in particular. No OS re-install or anything, just move of 1 internal disk. Would be great to hear if there is such a way.

Re: move disk monitoring history to another pc
It is possible of course: just open Configuration -> Update and select "Backup Configuration".
This saves all settings, statistics and S.M.A.R.T. history to a single file.
On the other computer, you can use Configuration -> Update and select "Restore Configuration" to load this information there.

Re: move disk monitoring history to another pc
Thank you for the reply. Just want to confirm, will this option owerwrite the data about other disks on the target computer or will it only "import" new disks data ?

Re: move disk monitoring history to another pc
It will import the S.M.A.R.T. status and trends (do not overwrite data for other disks) but it will overwrite some other files which may cause that the settings and some statistical information (for example, daily temperature statistics and total amount of read/written data for the disks) will be overwritten with the files from the source system, so this information may be lost on the target system.
If you prefer, please use Report -> Send test report to developer option (on the source system) and in the "comments" field enter which drive(s) you want to export (and then import) on the target system) and in e-mail I'll write the steps for manual process to make it without overwriting any information.
