Hi,
I really love your software, so first thank you for this useful program!
My issue is with a new USB 3.0 external HDD. I just now unsealed the plastic on 12/8, opened the box and plugged it in to my laptop for the first time, but it shows 85% performance instead of 100% performance like my other HDDs.
So I check the Log tab and see there are log entries for dates when the HDD was inside the box coming from the delivery company on a truck(12/3, 12/7). How are these dates in the log possible when HDD was still inside the box? It was definitely not turned on to generate any errors.
Could you explain to me what I'm seeing here? Is this a bug and the errors are from my other old HDDs? Are the dates in the log just wrong? Please help me understand this.
Log shows errors on new HDD?

Re: Log shows errors on new HDD?
Thanks for your message and kind words!
This seems really interesting. I can make sure that the log should contain possible problems with the actual hard disk, not with the older hard disk(s) you used previously. The performance value of 85% also indicates that there are some troubles / minor incompatibility causing that the hard disk may not operate as fast as should. For example the data communication errors appearing in the LOG may be in the background ...
Is it possible that somehow the date/time of your computer changed or adjusted somehow, for example by special program(s) which may adjust the date/time settings? Then I suspect it is possible that Hard Disk Sentinel got confused and saved the values for the adjusted (older) dates, instead of the real dates.
I'd suggest to use Report menu -> Send test report to developer option - as that can help to check the complete status of the hard disk and advise (you may even use Report menu -> Send test report to developer option multiple times when you see that the status changes and/or new entry appear in the log of the hard disk). That would surely confirm that the hard disk status changes - which is saved to the log as should.
