Using with Windows Home Server

Post by hmlukens »

Pardon the probably 'newb' question, but for use with WHS, Should I RDP into the server, load and install the software and run that way, or, is there a WHS add-in contemplated?

Thanks,

Please download and install the package from the Download page.
A WHS add in is planned but at the moment it would be hard to predict when it will be available.

It has been some time since this question was asked, so I'll bring it up again. Has there been any progress on development of a Windows Home Server (WHS) Add-In? Also, to be more specific, WHS 2011 edition. The WHS v1 was based on Windows Server 2003, the WHS 2011 version is based on Windows Server 2008 R2. Add-In development would also apply equally well to Small Business Server 2011 Essentials (that fact may improve your return on development investment).

Excellent, I'm running it on WHS now but a WHS Add-It makes alot more sense!

Is there a status of the WHS v1 HD Sentinal Add-in? looks like there is still a bit of interest in such an app. I myself would love this option.

Thanks!
Excuse me, it is not yet available. Hopefully it will be possible to make it in the future ;)
