Custom Temperature Alerts - not in "ALERTS"
Custom Temperature Alerts - not in "ALERTS"
I configured temperatures in CUSTOM TEMPERATURE ALERTS, but when setting messages or other actions in ALERTS the factory default temperature setting remain in the display. What are the CUSTOM TEMPERATURE ALERTS temperature settings for if they can't be used for ALERTS.
Re: Custom Temperature Alerts - not in "ALERTS"
Found it !. The Tray Icon Alert level carrys over to the ALERT Actions. But the question remains, Whart are the "Custom Temperature Thresholds" for ? Where do they show up as an action or alert.

Re: Custom Temperature Alerts - not in "ALERTS"
The "Custom Temperature Threshold" settings (available on
the Temperature page of each hard disks) are used for each
alerts for the corresponding hard disk.
With that, you can configure different yellow (warning) and red (alert)
levels for each hard disk, so Hard Disk Sentinel will issue
the configured alerts (for example e-mail alerts) when the
threshold is reached.
For example: you can configure that your main hard disk triggers
alert when reaches 40 Celsius temperature but your external hard
disk triggers alert when reaches 45 Celsius temperature.
As you noticed, the tray icon color (green, yellow, red) also
reflects the current level, based on the configured thresholds
for that hard disk.
