HD Sintenal Runs but the program interface does not show on the desktop and every time I click on the icon in the task bar it shows nothing. When I hover over the icon in the task bar the mini image shows(and only show part of the program running). Then I try to click on it and the same thing happens nothing. Even if I hover overt the small image and all the other programs fade away, the program that I want to show only shows an empty black square like the other programs. Same thing happens when I close then open the program.

If that mini image is shown, this may confirm that HD Sentinel is active and running. I suspect the problem is that its main window is displayed - but outside the currently visible desktop area.
Is it possible that previously it was displayed on a secondary display adapter (monitor) which is not working now? Then the main window may be displayed on that.

I'd suggest to
1) right click on the Hard Disk Sentinel icon in the task bar and select Exit to completely close Hard Disk Sentinel.
2) in the folder where the software installed (by default it is C:\Program Files\Hard Disk Sentinel or C:\Program Files (x86)\Hard Disk Sentinel on a 64 bit system) delete the file HDSentinel.ini
3) restart the software

This way the current settings (including the last displayed position) will be cleared and factory settings will be used, which should show the software on the primary, visible desktop.

Ps. you may backup the previous INI file just to be sure.
