Re: 4.20 problematic version ( at least for me )
Hi,
Excuse me for the troubles. Sorry, I can't really understand the situation.
As I can see, the tempeature is 41 Celsius, which is correct, not high, and does not really related to any alarm(s).
The "red circle with white cross" is displayed if the health level is too low. As you can see at Configuration -> Thresholds / Tray icon, by default the "Display hard disk health sign on tray icon" is enabled for health lower than 25%. It means that in this situation, the temperature and this symbol should flash (display alternating). However, as I see, the health is high - so there should be no "red circle with white cross".
If possible, please use Report -> Send test report to developer option. The best would be if you can use it in both 4.10 and the new 4.20 version, so it will be possible to check the differences. Maybe the best would be to re-install 4.20 to a complete new folder, to restore default settings and check if you see any troubles that way.
Also please send a screenshot to info@hdsentinel.com about the problem(s) you see in 4.20 as then it is possible to verify the situation and advise on what is detected / displayed differently on your system.
