Hide Tray Icon
Hide Tray Icon
Just installed on Windows 7 Ultimate x64. I have at least 4 hard drives connected at any one time and do not want all of those icons in my icon tray. I unchecked all of the tray icon boxes in preferences but the icons still appear in the tray. How can I get rid of them?

Re: Hide Tray Icon
Thanks for your message, but it is not a bug.
Please read the instructions on the top of Configuration -> Hard Disk Drives page: it shows that if you "un-check" the drives, it will configure which hard disks should be shown in the Status Window function (a different feature) and DOUBLE-CLICK can toggle the tray icons.
So you would need to double-click on the drives to hide them from the tray icons.
Alternatively, you may use the option "Display only the highest temperature on tray" just below the list of hard disks. This way you'll only have 1 tray icon with the highest temperature displayed - so you can be sure that you'll notified about higher temperature.

Re: Hide Tray Icon
I must have missed that. Tried what you suggested and it worked. Thanks!
