M5014/LSI 9260-8i and Supermicro H11SSL-i no HD detected

Post by WebGenius »

Hi all.
I'm a long time user of HD Sentinel Professional and it has always worked very well.

Now I'm switched to a Supermicro H11SSL-i motherboard continuing to use a M5014/LSI 9260-8i RAID card from before. After I switched, Hard Disk Sentinel can no longer detect the HDs connected to the RAID card.
Someone can help me to know why and how I can be resolved?

I'm using Windows Server 2019, latest updates and the latest beta of HD Sentinel.
Thanks in advance.

Hi,

As always in such / similar situations, please use Report menu -> Send test report to developer option.
This way it is possible to check the "raw" response of the disk / RAID controller, verify how it works (in an unexpected way) and what can be done to improve the situation.

If the system is offline, you can open Configuration -> Send test report page to create and save (and then manually send to info@hdsentinel.com ) this developer (test) report.

Thanks, I just noticed that you already sent report about the Cachecade configuration. Yes, it is known that always problematic....
Checking the report and will make the required changes, you can expect an updated version very soon ....
