Automatic testing of new disks

It was very interesting reading http://www.hdsentinel.com/faq.php#tests.

Have you considered allowing HDS to detect drives that it has not done its own tests on, and then to pop-up a wizard with a suggested course of test action(s). Then it could be sure of reporting the most accurate health stats.

I'm sure many folks may not have the time or inclination to delve into all the background docs and then formulate their own testing plan - they'd just want the app to suggest the best practices and actions, and then get on and do it!

For example when I plugged in a disk with reported health 20%, it suggests that I backup immediately, but there are no suggestions for running specific disk tests (which I understand from the above link might improve the health accuracy?).

Yes, I can confirm it is already planned, and also try to make further suggestions showing which test should be done upon different conditions to improve the situation (both the usability and the reported health if possible).

And also I can tell that there are additional tests planned to make things even more easier, available in future versions
