HD Sentinel for Linux doesn't do disk scan or repair?

Post by m3110w »

Looks like HDSentinel for Linux doesn't do disk scan or disk repair. Is that true?

Looks like HDSentinel for Linux only displays some disk info. Is that true?

The Linux version can detect and display the disk status, however, it does not perform any test/scan/repairs.

To test/scan/repair the disk drive, please use the Windows version. You can connect a Linux-formatted drive to Windows (eg. by USB dock) and perform the tests/diagnostics there.

Even if the file system is not readable under Windows, Hard Disk Sentinel can perform disk testing.
