Benchmark SSD/HDD complete write/read speed data?

Post by pbaudis »

Hi, will there be a better, more sophisticated SSD/HDD benchmark available? I mean better graphed with complete read/write speed data?

Thanks for the tip. Yes, probably the Disk menu -> Write+Read test will have different results, to show the write+read speed differently.

Until that, if you prefer to examine the results, you can right click on the surface map (the small squares) when Write+Read test completes and use the Export transfer speed values option. This saves a CSV file which you can open eg. in Excel to check the write/read speeds of each blocks (and even make graphs from the values).
