Are there any plans to add support for Western Digital Purple MicroSD cards? From what I've read these are supposed to support health monitoring.

Planned it for many months
The question is: when WD will plan it?
Got WD Purple SD cards for testing for months (since September 2021) but have no details about how these cards could report health or any kind of status information.
These are not compatible with any industrial SD cards tested and already supported in Hard Disk Sentinel where the health detection is possible.
Contacted WD numerous times and asked to provide at least some tool because even WD Dashboard official software can't show any health information.
Discussed with many support/tech persons (waited weeks for any answer...) but still nothing.
Asked them to at least show a compatible DVR which can show any Health % value - still nothing.

does not show any REAL product (software or real DVR) which can show Health % status.
So I'm afraid this depends more on WD, not on me: if it would depend on me, then WD Purple SD cards would be already supported for long time.
Please contact WD as customer: ask them about this situation, simply tell them that you need to monitor the actual Health % of the SD cards with your favourite disk monitoring tool (Hard Disk Sentinel) or at least by any other tool.
Hopefully for greater pressure they'll provide some real answer which would confirm that the WD Purple SD cards can really provide Health % as advertised.
