Generally it is possible any time to reinstall Hard Disk Sentinel or install on a new computer if the old system is replaced/no longer used. No need to manually unregister or so, the activation server allows reinstalling (or moving to new system) any time. Problem could happen only if this may happen too many times (or too frequently) - as then the license could be blocked. If this happens, please send an e-mail with the original license code to reset the activation status.
So if you prefer a clean reinstallation, please proceed the activation exactly as previously by using the 15 digit registration code (please send a mail if we can help in recover the license code if the original message with the details missing).
You'd need to use the original 15 digit license code to install on the new system. If you manually try to re-load a previous HDSentinel.hdk file on the new installation, it does not work of course as it is related to the previous installation (as described in the Help too).
To use the latest possible licensed version, download Hard Disk Sentinel from the Download page ( https://www.hdsentinel.com/download.php ) Make sure to download the proper version for your license (Hard Disk Sentinel standard or Professional).
After installation, to register and activate your product, please click on Help and select Enter registration key in Hard Disk Sentinel.
Please enter your name (or nickname) as username (you can use any name, it does not matter) and the license code you have (15 digit number) and click on the Register and activate on-line button.
Then the software should be registered and activated and can be used without limitations. Make sure that the software need to access the activation server during the activation, so your firewall should not block it.
If the online activation is not possible, then you can use the Register and activate by e-mail button to create an un-activated key file (HDSentinel.hds) to the folder of the software. Please send that in e-mail together with your license code so then it is possible to activate and send back the activated file for this installation.
