Hi,
I'm just trying out HDsentinel and it's working ok all other drives than the ones on my Areca 1230 controller.
All drives on the areca controller is reported to be a constantly 30 degrees, but the CLI tool shows the correct temp.
I'm using the STORPORT driver.

Re: Areca temps not showing correctly
Can you please confirm that you have HD Sentinel 3.00 (Help -> About)?
It should display the proper temperature of the drives, older version had problems with some specific STORPORT drivers, but v3.00 has improved support as you can check at http://www.hdsentinel.com/rev.php
Please use the Report menu Send test report to developer option so I can verify the detected information.

Ok, I am using 3.0, and that is the reason why I came here, as I could read it should work.
I just send you a full bug report, hopefully you can figure out what the problem is.
Thanks in advance.

Re: Areca temps not showing correctly
I received the report and saw you have the STORPORT driver, which should allow the detection without problems.
You confirmed you have the right firmware (firmware 1.46 or newer is required).
Do you have the Areca CLI installed? Can you please confirm that it can display details about your disks?
